Roasted Brussels Sprouts

Roasted Brussels Sprouts

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound of Brussels Sprouts trimmed and halved
  • 2 Tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: Garlic powder, parmesan cheese, balsamic vinegar, maple syrup and chopped bacon

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 400 degrees.
  2. In a large bowl, toss the halved Brussels Sprouts with olive oil until they are evenly coated.
  3. Season with salt, pepper and any other desired seasonings like garlic powder.
  4. Spread the Brussels sprouts out in a single layer on a baking sheet.
  5. Roast in a preheated oven for 20 to 25 minutes, or until they are tender and caramelized, stirring halfway through.
  6. If desired, sprinkle with parmesan cheese or drizzle with balsamic vinegar or add chopped bacon pieces and maple syrup. Stir and serve.
