Roasted Brussels Sprouts
Ingredients:
- 1 pound of Brussels Sprouts trimmed and halved
- 2 Tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: Garlic powder, parmesan cheese, balsamic vinegar, maple syrup and chopped bacon
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 400 degrees.
- In a large bowl, toss the halved Brussels Sprouts with olive oil until they are evenly coated.
- Season with salt, pepper and any other desired seasonings like garlic powder.
- Spread the Brussels sprouts out in a single layer on a baking sheet.
- Roast in a preheated oven for 20 to 25 minutes, or until they are tender and caramelized, stirring halfway through.
- If desired, sprinkle with parmesan cheese or drizzle with balsamic vinegar or add chopped bacon pieces and maple syrup. Stir and serve.
