7 Hacks to Organize a small kitchen pantry

If your pantry is more cabinet than closet, you’re not alone-and you’re not out of options. Small pantries can work just as efficiently (and beautifully!) with a few simple organization strategies.

Whether you’re meal prepping for the week or just trying to avoid buying duplicate bags of rice (guilty!), these small-space hacks make cooking more enjoyable.

Here are my 7 favorite small pantry tips:

  1. Use clear, Stackable Bins:  Keep similar items together – baking, snacks, grains-and label the front of each bin so you can slide it out and grab what you need.
  2. Add shelf risers or tiers: Maximize vertical space and keep items like canned goods or spices visible with expandable shelf risers.
  3. Use a Lazy Susan for jars and sauces: No more knocking over the vinegar to reach the soy sauce.  Turntables keep everything within reach.
  4. Install undershelf baskets: These hang from existing shelves and are perfect for plastic wraps, tea or bagged snacks.
  5. Mount storage on Cabinet doors:  Spice racks, hooks, and even dry erase boards fit perfectly in the inside of the door.
  6. Use Matching, airtight containers:  Not only does it look great, it helps you see what’s running low at a glance.
  7. Keep a “use me first” basket: Avoid waste by grouping items that are near their expiration date or already opened.

Now, I’m going to go clean out my pantry again!  Thankful for my small pantry!

Thankful for my Readers too!
